DROID 4 Fastboot files to Gingerbread 2.3.5?

[ Edited ]

Could have sworn I posted this but when I come back from lunch I don't see it so I must not have.

The Droid 4 comes with 2.3.6, is there any chance of a fastboot file or SBF file to go back to 2.3.5 like the promotional models have? I talked to Motorola LIVE Chat and they told me to ask here on Motodev about the issue. Every website for the Droid 4 labels it as 2.3.5, but after you purchase it it says Gingerbread 2.3.6 without updating at all.

I hope to get a response on this issue, all the websites (motodev, Verizon, and Motorola) still say the Droid 4 is on 2.3.5 stock, including Live chat support.

Rhea: Hi, my name is Rhea. How may I help you?
Matt Groff: Hello Rhea
Rhea: Hi, Matt. How can I help?
Matt Groff: I was just checking the Verizon website and the Motodev website I am registered to about the Droid 4
Matt Groff: According to those 2 websites the Droid 4 is on Gingerbread 2.3.5
Matt Groff: But the actual phone I am hearing about people buying is on Gingerbread 2.3.6
Rhea: Let me verify that for you, Matt.
Matt Groff: As a developer this does make a difference to me, I was wondering why it would be on 2.3.6
Matt Groff: Thank you Rhea
Rhea: Matt, the phone has Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread)
Rhea: You can visit http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/Mobile-Phones/ci.DROID4-BY-MOT... for the complete specification of the phone.
Matt Groff: If I buy the phone and it is on 2.3.6 can I a return for full value back?
Matt Groff: I need this to be on 2.3.5 for my work
Rhea: I understand. However, the phone only has the 2.3.5. However, for a credit refund, the phone must be directly purchase from the Motorola website and within 30 days.
Matt Groff: Do you have any information on buying it from Verizon?
Matt Groff: I'd like to get it ASAP and its hard to get things mailed with only a PO Box
Rhea: I apologize but as of the moment, we still do not have any information.
Matt Groff: I thank you for checking for me Rhea
Matt Groff: I will check the model at the Verizon store to confirm
Rhea: You are welcome, Matt.
Matt Groff: Have a great day
Rhea: So will there be anything else?
Matt Groff: That'll be all
Rhea: Thank you. I hope you found our chat to be Excellent. I would request that after you click 'Hang Up', please remember to click on the 'Close' button within the chat window and take a moment to fill out a short survey to tell us how we did. It should only take about 1 minute to complete. Your responses will help us get better at serving your needs.
Rhea: If you need any more information get in touch. Thanks from Motorola, bye!
Rhea has disconnected.[/quote]

I know they will be released unofficially soon... so why not play the good guys and release them your selves to fix your own mistake?

I don't want unofficial files that can hurt my phone. I want legitimate files from MOTODEV.
