Seesmic is now on Android

by Administrator on 12-03-2009 04:31 PM - last edited on 12-03-2009 04:34 PM

This past Wednesday we chatted with Mathieu over at Seesmic who is the mobile product manager. In the past couple of weeks Seesmic launched their mobile app for Android and have received over 10,000 downloads of their Twitter Android application. Matthieu chatted with me on the following:

  • About the company
  • About their mobile strategy
  • About their social media strategy
  • What they think of Android
  • What tools they used to build their Android application
  • How they tested?
  • What events they are planning on goign to?
  • and how they deal with product feedback from their team Seesmic group
  • plus many more audience questions from our blogtalkradio chat

Listen to the archive below and comment on this blog with questions, comments, and any feedback you may have. Also, below are a few screenshots of the product - notice the main features are timeline, replies, direct messages, and profile. It's tough to pack in all the features of a twitter on mobile so Seesmic instead wanted to focus on a few key areas and build on based upon user feedback. Enjoy the podcast and congrats to Seesmic on launching their Android application.
