Get Creative with the Droid

Perhaps you have noticed throughout the MOTODEV site are a bunch of droids doing some fun things such as listening to music, reading a map, or riding a motorcycle. This is because the Android robot can be used, reproduced, and modified freely and we want to give you the opportunity to submit your image to our Facebook fan page.  Whether the robot is climbing Mt. Everest or whether he is surfing the waves of Tahiti have fun with this non-dev project.

Here are the important links:

  1. Download the Android robot JPG
  2. Get creative with the droid
  3. Post it on the MOTODEV Facebook Fan Page

Note: please don't use any Motorola logos or products with the droid, just the droid itself.

Thanks and have fun! Looking forward to seeing the submissions.  If you have any questions post a comment.

Hi,

I didn't understand the question about licencs of using text ou images.

From what I understanded, In this link - http://code.google.com/policies.html#attribution - to use your images like the droid with phone or the droid reading something, it's good enough just saying "source: http://community.developer.motorola.com/t5/MOTODEV-Blog/Get-Creative-with-the-Droid/ba-p/1713#A114" or we have to do something more?

And about the images that we can create? we have some kind of author rigths?

Thanks for your future response :smileywink:

hey @cisco thanks for the questions. The images that you post on Facebook on our fan page are yours. They are is no creative common's functionality within Facebook so if you want to post it on Flickr and assign the rights that way and post a link on the Facebook page that works too. As for your other question just link back to this blog post and we'll link to the appropriate Google page. Thanks and let us know if you have any questions.
