How do I get this to work with the new honeycomb emulator. Do I have to change the SDK version in the skin folder?

In order to use the XOOM skin with tne new Honeycomb images you should change the api level to Honeycomb in the manifest.ini file under the XOOM folder. We are also working on an updated emulator image for our SDK add-on that mirrors the tablet as closely as we can get so stay tuned...

An updated XOOM SDK add-on is now available. It includes the changes that Anna described earlier.

Product specs for XOOM MZ604 (WiFi only) and XOOM MZ601, MZ603 (HSPA/GPRS/EDGE) announced this week are now available. They're the same as XOOM MZ600, except for the radios.

Is the MZ604 only going to be available in Europe?

Good question! This board doesn't really handle product availability. The best place to watch for the latest news on that is mediacenter.motorola.com. You can monitor the RSS feed there or sign up for email notification.
Go XOOM!

Ok, ok. Can't blame a guy for trying. Also, glod star for that sidestep. ![]()

Is it possible to have a different output through the Xoom's HDMI port than from what is on screen, such as displaying a game's controls on the Xoom while the HDMI out handles the full game?

Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask. The XOOM page went live on Verizon's website and says there will be no flash at launch. Some speculation is that this is a mistake, that the device will ship with 10.1 support and that 10.2 will come later. What is the official word on flash at release.

Yes, this is the wrong place to ask. We don't have the "official word" on new products. You'll have to get that from somewhere else, such as the product site (motorola.com), or from Verizon, or Google. Or just wait until it ships, and then see what's what...
