Wow. Screen seems huge. Cant wait to have the Motorola Droid in my hands. Will take some time since I am from Europe. Heard that navigation is way faster than on the iPhone.

hello MOTODEV, i had a quick question i was wondering how can i make on my new motorola cliq the date appear on the left top right corner at all times, because it jus appears only when u touch on it and as soon as you let go it fades away... is there a way u can make it stay on display?

My husband and I both bought the Droid's on Saturday. The Verizon Sales Rep set up both phones. He is able to receive emails from gmail but I am not. I have tried removing the account, factory restore, and other things the techs from both Verizon and Motorola have told me. I am able to send e-mails from the Droid's gmail, but it will not sync to retrieve new e-mails after it's been set up. Is this a problem with Google gmail or with my phone?

I have several questions and comments:

Droid rocks but lacks a few items:

I prefer to sysc my phone via a USB cable and outlook. (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks) This ensure I manage my connectivity and information. Please fix and you will not only get the Apple market but go after Blackberry! I was told the product had this support from Verizon and not happy with the results.

I search the web for a solution and there are many other folks seeking a soultion.

How about flash for Droid?

Attend an Orange App Clinic in SF & Chiswick

Just got done chatting with Ruth from Orange about the Orange App Clinics coming up in New York (November 6), San Francisco (November 13th), and Chiswick (November 17th) where you can show your app to the Orange partner team, test it on a range of Orange devices and even use the Orange UK network. For those in the U.S., great opportunity for developers that might not got a chance to test on the Orange network without being physically in the UK. On Wednesday's podcast we talk with Michael Labowicz, who is a product development manager at Motorola involved in application design and development for DROID by Motorola and the Motorola MILESTONE. Both are recent products that were launched in the past couple weeks and Michael was knee deep in development on the software side of things.
