If you have requested a developer certificate from MOTODEV previously, the process remains the same for requesting a developer certificate by going to the "Ask a Question" section on MOTODEV. There are no changes for those developers who are already familiar with this existing process. For developers requesting a developer certificate for the first time, please see more detailed information below: 1. Register and login to http://developer.motorola.com. 2. From the top menu click through the following links: - Support (top menu from the home page) - Technical Support - Ask a Question In the Topic drop down choose: - Handset - Choose your operating system - Choose your handset In the Category drop down choose: - JavaME - Testing and Signing - Developer Certificates 4. Complete the rest of the form. You will be asked to provide your CSR (Certificate Signing Request) and your UID text file. Please read the information on Answer ID 570 and use the appropriate template at the bottom of that article. More details are provided in the article. Answer ID 570: Title - Please read this BEFORE submitting a request for Developer Certificates https://support.developer.motorola.com/cgi-bin/motodev.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=570 5. Upon completion of the form, click "Submit a Question". 6. Click "Finish Submitting Question". 7. MOTODEV will review your request and will notify you via e-mail when your developer certificate is ready for you to download from MOTODEV website.
